We are developing Hawaii’s pipeline of socially impactful entrepreneurs.

Next Cohort: January - April 2023

SIIP is a 4-month long incubator program to help early stage socially-minded founders reach their next important business milestone. Whether you are developing a non-profit organization or a socially impactful business, SIIP will help you build community and build your venture.

How will you grow?

At SIIP, we recognize that every entrepreneur’s journey looks a little different — maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Regardless, we are ready to teach you the fundamentals to help you flourish.

  • Gain the business and operational skills to expand your venture.

  • Effectively understand and communicate the why, how, and what of your org.

  • Find a sustainable business model.

95% of SIIP participants highly valued the connections they made during the program.

Don’t wait. Apply today.

“I loved having peers that were genuine and diverse; a group that felt like they were in the trenches with me... As I move forward, what I've learned in this program will help me scale up strategically”

— Wesley Adkins | ‘Ewa Drive In

We are redefining the idea of who can be an entrepreneur.

Right now, within the VC space, women and BIPOC receive around 2.3% and 20.3% of funding respectively. At SIIP we understand the value of having a diverse group of entrepreneurs and work hard to mitigate biases in our recruitment processes.

FAQs

  • Nope! We accept both non-profit and for-profit ventures into our program. However, if you are a for-profit organization, your company must have some sort of positive social impact on the community.

  • This program is completely free! In fact, you have the potential to earn up to $8,000 upon completion of this program based on our innovative Ohana Capital funding model.

  • Although there are a few parts of the program that are in-person, most of the program sessions are held remotely. Upon acceptance into the program, a detailed list of any in-person events will be sent out.

  • At the beginning and end of the program there will be two, all-day events—the venture retreat, and the final project presentations. These are mandatory events and we will notify you of the dates in advance. Outside of those two days, typically, we ask that you reserve 1-5 hours per week for the program. This time will be used attending sessions, meeting with mentors and consultants, doing “homework” that is assigned, etc.

Let’s do this.

Take your venture to the next level.
